Cooper Homewood were appointed to
provide professional services during RIBA Stages 1 and 2, supporting the early
design and feasibility phases of the development. Our work involved close
collaboration with the wider project team to define the brief, explore design
options, and establish a strong foundation for subsequent stages of
development.
In addition to our design input, Cooper Homewood were also responsible
for delivering key sustainability services. This included SAP (Standard
Assessment Procedure) modelling to evaluate and improve the energy performance
of the dwellings, overheating assessments to ensure thermal comfort and
compliance with regulatory standards, and detailed thermal bridge modelling to
reduce heat loss and support fabric efficiency.
Our involvement helped to shape a development that not only met planning
and performance objectives but also aligned with best practice in sustainable
residential design.
